Assalam oalikum,

Sheikh Sa'ad ibn Sa'id Al-Ghamidi was born in hijri- 1387 (1968) in Dammam,

Saudi Arabia. He is not just a Qari/ reciter of the Qur'an but also a Saudi Islamic

theologian/alim and Imam. Sheikh Saad had memorized the Qur'an in hijri 1410

(1990).He studied in Dammam where besides other Islamic activites he was

active amongst the circle of huffaz (those who have memorized the entire

Qur'an). He had got his degree in Usul ad-Din from the University of Shariia and

an ijaaza in al-Isnad (h. 1417).

He is the Imam of the Kanoo mosque in Dammam. Prior to this he had been an

Imam in Austria, UK and US.

Sheikh Sa'ad Al-Ghamidi had the privilege of leading Taraweeh Salaat in Al-

Masjid al-Nabawi in Medinah, Saudi Arabia, in the holy month of Ramadhan (2009).
